Hi this is my back to school google drawing it says a bit about how lockdown and school and stuff I like about lockdown I have had a good day at school because I got to all my friends and I hope we don't go back in lockdown because it just cancels everything.

This week for maths my class has been learning about fractions I like it because it was easy.

Olympic

 When Persians invaded Greece a lot of the Greek city states agreed that they would put together an army but they had a hard time getting one together because so many people wanted to go to the olympics so they delayed putting an army together to defend the country from the Persians.

The Olympics started in 776 BC.They went for 1000 years during which 293 Olympic games were held. 

In 393 AD the new Roman emperor banned the Olympic games as he was a Christian and believed they were a pagan practise. It took 1503 years for the Olympics to return. The first modern Olympics were held in Athen in 1896. 

206 countries competed in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics with over 11,000 athletes.

In the ancient Olympics games there was running, long jump, shot put, javelin, boxing, pankration and equestrian events.

The Olympics were created in honor of ancient Greece’s most famous god. Zeus, the king of gods.

Funny fact: in the ancient Olympics the participants competed naked.

In fact the Greek word for nude is gymnos, which is where the word gymnastics comes from.

Instead of getting gold, silver and bronze there was only one winner who was rewarded with a wreath which is an olive leaf crown.

The Blue-ringed Octopus is a poisonous octopus that lives on the seafloor and can live in water temperatures up to 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

What does blue-ringed octopus eat they eat small crustaceans including shrimps and crab and they eat over octopus which makes them bigger the reason why the blue-ringed octopus eats these because they are not as powerful as him.

Many octopus are found all over the world the blue ringed octopus are fonndin warm shallow needs.

Today we were finishing writing our octopus report. I found it hard to write everything down but I got it done in the end.

Today for literacy we were making side about 10 best walks of new Zealand and I did it with Taj and Tane hope you enjoy it. The one thing that was hard was doing it at first but in the end I made it wich is good because I get free time.

 Dear Council

My name is Keil and I think we should make a shooting range in Greymouth because it will show people how to use a gun properly and safely. 

If we had a shooting range it would be good to show us how to hold it and how it shoots. It can also teach us about how a gun kicks back.

The shooting range will help more people get into shooting which will give them something to do. A shooting range would be good for hand and eye coordination.

In conclusion Greymouth needs a shooting range to give something to do and teach gun safety.
